Welcome to My Blog! [First Post]

I am finally launching my blog! Having this new blog is really exciting for me! It feels like a fresh, new canvas that I can paint my life on. My goal is to post at least once a week on this blog but I will try my best to post multiple times. I am mostly going to be sharing products that I personally use and my lifestyle. Despite having this newbie-like enthusiasm, I am actually not new to blogging. I have used several blogging sites in my teens and I really enjoyed running them. However, they were not personal blogs and lacked original content. With this blog, I want to share the things that I love and some aspects of my life.

Why I Chose to Blog

Since I am running an Instagram page and a YouTube channel, I thought "why not create a blog too?!". But I have two main reasons why I started this blog:

I have written product reviews on my Instagram but the character limit really limits my thoughts on a product. I am not able to share in-depth reviews on there. I've been reading beauty product reviews on blogs for years now and realized that maybe I should do the same thing since blogs are great platforms for reviews.

The second reason is that I am not the greatest speaker out there. It's a little difficult for me to express myself verbally on the spot. I initially thought that YouTube would be the perfect platform to share my thoughts on but it's not exactly the case for me. I feel much more comfortable writing out my thoughts and ideas rather than verbally delivering them. Although, I still try to do YouTube as much as I can because I want to keep my channel alive!
